Details on lessons during the pandemicOur Covid-19 Safety Measures
At Active Driving School we will ensure everyone’s safety in response to the coronavirus pandemic using the latest Government & Health England advice.
Face Coverings
Wearing a face covering will be mandatory at all times during driving lessons. We will not supply a face covering and you must bring your own. A suitable face covering is one that covers the mouth & nose. If you are medically exempt from wearing a face covering then please let your instructor know in advance of the lesson starting.
Ventilation
All lessons will be with sufficient ventilation throughout the car, meaning windows will be open to increase fresh air into the vehicle and help reduce any potential covid particles in the car environment. Because of this, it may be cooler in the car, particularly in the winter months.
Vehicle Sanitisation
Your instructor will wipe all touch points after every lesson using anti-bacterial wipes and/or sprays. Your instructor will also regularly clean the interior.
Hand Sanitisation
Your instructor will ensure that there is hand gel available in the car for you to use, but please feel free to bring and use your own if you prefer.
Safety
You will be asked to declare that you are symptom free. You will be expected to inform your instructor in the earliest instance if you;
- Develop any symptoms of covid-19.
- Are asked to self-isolate.
- Receive a positive coronavirus test result.
In this case your instructor will reschedule your lesson for you.
Passengers
At this time, no additional passengers will be allowed in the car during your driving lesson.
Payment
To limit the amount of contact, it is preferred for you to make payments online via bank transfer for your lessons. If you prefer to pay in cash then please speak directly with your driving instructor.
